Shane Ward is a Master Taxidermist who grew up in the Texas Panhandle. Shane began hunting as a small boy in a family of hunters. At the age of 8, he was taken on his first duck hunt by his cousin, Tim Long, in Hereford, Texas. He has been hooked on waterfowl ever since.
Shane Ward's Waterfowl & Bird Taxidermy was Shane's dream of capturing the magical moments of waterfowl. Shane had a full-service taxidermy shop since 1994. In 2021, he was able to achieve his dream of having a birds-only shop. He is a member of the National Taxidermy Association, and has won several national & state awards.
Shane & his family were blessed to move their headquarters to northwest Arkansas where he is located today.
